We have decided to focus on three goals around which we propose events and services to our members:

• To help and support future professionals of the economic sphere: we provide advice, organise information meetings (e.g. about PhD programmes), forward job and internship offers;

• To foster exchanges between students and professionals: we organise formal and informal meetings with professionals (eg: from academia, economic consultancies, public institutions) and visits of institutions where economics are brought to the real life (eg: OECD, Banque de France); we are building a directory to help students, alumni and professionals keeping in touch;

• To build up our student community: economics is a demanding discipline; we need to get to know each other outside of a formal setting, this is why The Economic Society regularly organises informal drinks and parties for its members.
